It's Friday. It's hot. Let's link.
 - Pull On Superman's Cape comments on a Kofi pipe dream:
You want 0.7% of our GDP Mr. Annan? After what has transpired under your watch, I wouldn't give you 0.7% of the exhaust fumes from my truck. I'd guess that 0.7% was Kofi's blood alcohol content when he came up with that idea. $82 billion is a lot of money to ignore global atrocities and prop up dictatorial regimes. - It looks like Gitmo abuse did happen. Moonbattery documents what goes on at Guantanamo on a daily basis. No studies yet on whether the behavior was caused by Christina Aguilera or rap music
- Will's latest Reform Thursday post has one of the most promising developments yet in SS reform:
Growing real assets. Protecting the surplus. Stopping the raid. Tackling out-of-control entitlement spending, which threatens to harm America's economy over the long-run. Advancing the ball on Social Security reform. I want to see the fallout from Dems argument against this plan since it circumvents the "lockbox" meme, "risky scheme" meme and would tighten government spending of the surplus via pork orgies. - Malkin looks to be the HQ for the latest douchebag comparison - this one by Brian Williams of NBC.
I have a feeling Mr. Williams will be feeling a lot of heat in the next 24 hours. He's already sparking some major pre-Fourth of July fireworks. Yeah, and really bad timing, too Brian. We won't have forgotten over the weekend. - And in a "The UN Sucks" two-fer, Dean Esmay hammers the OIC's attempt to gain a permanent seat on the U.N. security council:
The Organization of the Islamic Conference is not a legitimate representative government body. It primarily represents a handful Mafia-style kingpins and theocratic fascists who rule with an iron fist over tens of millions of people by brute force. Read it all. And coming July 12th, 2005...
