Carnival of Crazy XVII - To Be Or Not To Be?

A big thanks to Wunderkraut and Miss Cellania for hosting carnivals 15 and 16. Links to all past CofC's are on the left banner.

Now the carnival returns to FIU. And it's reflection time.

Four entries. That's it for this week. Why?
  • I had a work trip eat up half my week, up to tonight, to be exact. This eliminated the time it takes to fill the CofC with genuinely crazy material.
  • Why do I have to fill the CofC with genuinely crazy material? Because of 17+ entries submitted the past two weeks, the following four are the only ones with a semblence of crazy in them. Well over 75% of the submissions aren't crazy at all or even remotely on-topic. It's quite disappointing.
I, Hoodlumman, need some genuine feedback from regular readers, commenters and maybe those that enjoy the carnival but never comment. I also need to hear from those who don't like the CofC or have ideas on how to improve it.

It doesn't help that Dr. Sanity (a great blog) has the Carnival of Insanities. Dr. S has four to fives time the traffic and a carnival that's essentially the same as this one.

That's a big steaming pile for our CofC.

I'm hesitant to can the CoC it, because FIU is not for quitters. And, to be honest, I like compiling it.

It's possible that burn out may be to blame. Like everyone else, I'm personally very busy these days. I don't plan on going on hiatus but none of this helps when it comes to doing a carnival.

Now I've gone and hijacked a perfectly good entry with ramblings.

Enjoy these four well-qualified posts, leave the blogger(s) feedback and come on back. We'll see what two Tuesdays from now brings. Thanks for reading!
